My garage is full and I have lots of projects to finish and even some that I will post later today. Im branching out and selling my furniture in another store maybe even three all together so Im busy , busy busy. I have had a lot of people ask about my painting techniques and I have every intention of posting a diy section so stay tuned!
A BIG THANKS to Redoux for featuring my Unique Farmhouse Dresser today!
I got this cheap cabinet shelf for $10 ( yes I over paid) Its the typical boring white, press board shelf you can find at any big store. One of the glass windows was broken and it was scratched up but its amazing what a little chicken wire and paint can do!!! I love the color too its agave from Behr. The remaining piece of glass is now a shelf.
Sometimes a color just doesn't work. I had this dresser for sale, forever and everyone liked it but no one loved it enough to buy it. It was time for a change from farmhouse to cottage chic from taupe and raspberry to blue gray and walnut. It started with sanding four layers of paint off and ended with me dumping a new can of polyurethane all over my garage floor the cost of this project just keeps going up and up, no one will be able to afford this by the time Im done.
